HANDS ON HISTORY-WWI FAMILY FUN DAY

Join us from 10:30am-1:30pm on Saturday, July 28th for a Hands on History-Family Fun Day! Come explore "The Great War," its effect on African American Chicagoans, and the world they lived in. Explore and engage with our newest exhibition Clearing a Path for Democracy: Citizen Soldiers of the Fighting 8th of WWI with an interactive tour, artifact hunt, and a WWI airplane craft!


This event is free and open to the public. The program corresponds with the current exhibition Clearing a Path for Democracy: Citizen Soldiers of the Fighting 8th of WWI.
